In Rick Riordan’s The Lightning Thief Percy Jackson is accused of taking the most powerful weapon in the world. Zeus’s Master Bolt. Zeus Expects it to be returned in ten days.
Percy and his friends, Grover and Annabeth, must travel all over the U.S. to retrieve the master bolt and return it. There are monsters after them though, like Medusa. (By the way, They chop off Medusa’s head.) “We found some old plastic grocery bags behind the snack counter and double wrapped Medusa’s head.”
My favorite part is when percy gets smart alek with the god of war. It’s my favorite because it’s funny.
I rate this book four out of five. I recommend  this book to you if you don’t like to read, or you just like fantasy fiction. I Personally loved it.
